Inaugural NBA Jersey Patch Partnership

In February 2017, the Brooklyn Nets announced that Infor, a global leader in cloud software, would be the team’s inaugural jersey patch partner. As the lead of the Global Marketing Solutions team, my role was to lead the development of the unprecedented sponsorship program and create the sales collateral to represent the never-been-done-before partnership. We built the partnership on four pillars: (1) team performance, (2) fan experience, (3) team business operations, and (4) jersey patch sponsorship. 

Though the inaugural jersey patch story took over most headlines, the jersey patch branding was more than a logo slap. The Brooklyn Nets and Infor agreed to work together to develop a digital hub designed to help Nets General Manager Sean Marks and the team’s Basketball Operations department make data-driven decisions to affect performance on the court.
